Chase Robert Krissman, age 36, of Altonah, passed away January 14, 2025, from health complications.
Chase was born on October 23, 1988, in Roosevelt, Utah, to Matthew R. Krissman and Stacy Lynn Fisher Krissman. He decided to make his grand entrance 3 months early at a whopping 2 lbs. 5 oz., a larger than life baby. He spent a lot of time in the NICU where his mother Stacy would sing and recited nursery rhymes to him. Chase and Stacy had a very special bond. In February 2000, Stacy passed away and he was then raised with his sister Rylan by their grandparents, Brent and Kathy Fisher, in Altonah. He graduated from Altamont High School.
Chase was fun-loving and had a great sense of humor— he loved to tease his sister. He loved to hunt, shoot guns, and fish with his Grandpa Brent. He always had the sharpest knives! He loved his Grandma Kathy’s cooking most of all. He had numerous friends which he loved to hang out with.
Chase loved working at “Swasey’s Other Place” where he met so many people that he loved to help and talk to.
Chase loved his gold Ford Ranger. He drove everywhere from friends’ houses to the mountains.
Chase was an avid football fan and enjoyed watching football with his dad. He loved the Indianapolis Colts. One of his fondest memories was being able to attend a game with his “buddies” in Indiana.
Chase is survived by his father, Matthew (Jill) Krissman, Ballard; grandparents, Brent & Katharine Fisher, Altonah; grandmother, Carolyn Wilcken, Upalco; sister, Rylan Fisher-Krissman (Zach Gallegos), Fruitland; his fur-nephew, “Bear”; step-siblings, Jenni (Cole) Brackenbury; Janessa Jensen; JoceLynne (Daniel) Baeza, and Jordan (Lynsey) Jensen. He will be missed by numerous, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Stacy Lynn Krissman, and grandfather, Buzz Krissman.
