Caroyl Moore

Caroyl Marion Moore, age 76, of Vernal and Roosevelt, passed away November 15, 2022, at her daughter’s home in Vernal.
    She was born May 26, 1946, in Detroit, Michigan, to Charles and Laurel Nooris Moore.  She was engaged to Randy Storey for many years and he later died.
    Caroyl worked for most of her life as a cook for many cattle drives.  She really enjoyed being in the outdoors, fishing and camping, and she also liked to paint and crochet.  She loved her children and adored her grandchildren.   She will be remembered for her stubborn and bull-headed personality.  She will be greatly missed.
    She is survived by her children, Matthew (Tara) Moore, Magna; Rebecca Ann Campo, Salt Lake City; Jessica Storey, Montana; Sarah (Steven) Talbot, Heber; Laura Reaume, Vernal; 19 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; siblings, Winifred “Peggy” (Robert) Gordon, West Valley City; Charles (Shelley) Moore, West Jordan; Kathrine Brannon, Pleasant Grove; Michael Moore, Southern Utah; Patricia Merkley, West Valley City; and numerous nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Storey; fiancé, Randy; grandchildren, Crystal Ross & Austin Sweat; and her parents.
     Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., at the Hullinger Mortuary.  There will be a viewing that morning from 9:30-10:45 a.m. 
    Burial will be in the Roosevelt Memorial Park.
