Our loving mother, grandmother, and friend Carolyn Jessica Agnello, age 72, of Stanton, California, passed away on June 28, 2024, while visiting her daughter in Roosevelt, Utah.
She was born October 16, 1951, in Patterson, New Jersey, to Joseph Yusis and Helen Szymanski Yusis.
Carolyn lived a life full of passion, love and adventure. She had the biggest heart and loved her family to no end. Her children and grandchildren knew she was Mama Bear and would do anything to help them. Her passions included music and photography, and she spent much of her glory days taking pictures of “the band” at Carl’s shows. Carolyn held many jobs but the one she was most proud of was her work as a teacher at Summit College. Carolyn was well known for her famous banana bread that she made for everyone even though she hated bananas. Traditions that will be fondly remembered are making Christmas cookies and singing Christmas carols in the neighborhood, but she loved every holiday and made each one special.
Carolyn leaves behind her children Michael James Kenyon II and Michelle Lillian Rios; and her grandchildren, Evan, Alyssa, Emily, Jarod, Abel, Terra, Daniella, and Jeremiah.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her older brothers Joseph and Edward Yusis and her soul mate, Carl Agnello.
Per her wishes, she was cremated.
