Brooke Valynn Robb, age 30, of Roosevelt, passed away on December 1, 2021, at her home.
She was born February 19, 1991, in Roosevelt, to Clynton Boyd Robb and Angela K. Michaeli.
Brooke worked for the Community Outreach Program for the Ute Indian Tribe. She was a hard worker and was often given the jobs no-one wanted because she could handle anything that was thrown her way. She was a happy, sweet, loving and adventurous person who could be counted on and would help anyone. She had a talent for cleaning up at the family poker games, and had a fondness for the paranormal, visiting Skinwalker Ranch on many occasions. She was loved by everyone, and was considered the “Favorite Aunt” by her nieces and nephews. She had worked hard to overcome many challenges and was moving forward in her life.
Brooke is survived by her boyfriend, AJ Kanip; her parents, Angela & Wade Betts, Roosevelt; her grandparents, Val & Carolyn Robb, Roosevelt; siblings, Lance (Carly) Betts, Darren (Megan) Betts, Tyler (Tanikka) Robb, Scott Webb, and a sister by choice, Kaylin (Jeremy) Sonnier, all of Roosevelt; nieces and nephews, Jocelyn, Lucki, Yaiger, Noni, Sailor, Kayzlee, Hunter, Jaelyn, Cierra, Tyson, Aibhlinn, and Avery; her best friend, Joetta Bitsuie; her beloved dog, “Prisci”; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Clynton; grandmothers, Judy Johnson, Edith Christensen, Velma Betts, and a cousin, Brian Michaeli.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at the Roosevelt 2nd Ward Chapel (the white church across from the Uintah Basin Medical Center) of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. There will be a viewing at the Hullinger Mortuary on Monday from 6-8 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9:30-10:45 a.m. at the Church. Burial will be in the Roosevelt Memorial Park.
