Brandon Ross Ivie, lovingly known as “B” passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends, on Sunday, March 23, 2025 at the Intermountain Medical Center in Murray. True to his spirit he chose to clock out at the end of the 5:00 PM shift - because, after all; it’s always 5 o’clock somewhere.
Brandon was born July 21, 1983 in Roosevelt, Utah to Terry L. and LeeAnn Myers Ivie-Ballard. He was a devoted father, son, brother, uncle and friend. Affectionately called “Uncle B,” he cherished his nieces and nephews, always bringing joy and laughter to their time together.
Brandon had a deep love for the outdoors. Whether chipping golf balls in the backyard, playing football with the kids, or engaging in a friendly game of “bocce ball, he found joy in every moment. His passion for the mountains led him on many adventures - hunting for that trophy animal during the season or simply relaxing by a stream with a fishing pole and hunting gear. An avid golfer, Brandon not only enjoyed playing but also watching tournaments on the weekends. In a single year, he remarkably achieved two hole-in-ones at Thanksgiving Point, one of them on Father’s Day.
Family was at the center of Brandon’s life. His daughter, Bentlee, was his greatest love. He took immense pride in watching her perform in Drama Club, Cheer and Dance, as well as coaching her in competition softball and golf. He treasured family gatherings, spirited sports discussions, and cheering on his favorite teams ~ The Utah Utes and The Dallas Cowboys.
Brandon is survived by his beloved daughter, Bentlee Nicole Ivie; his parents. Terry L (Holly) Ivie; mother, LeeAnn Ivie-Ballard; siblings, Tysen (Kirston) Ivie, Cody (Ashleigh) Ivie, Zac (McKenzie Skye) Ivie, Jaxson Ivie (Camry), Syanna K. Ivie, Jasmin Ivie and Asia Ivie. He is also survived by his grandmothers, Dorothy Ivie, Dixie Lee Myers, Karen (Dee) Peterson, as well as many beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Verl “Jake” Ivie, Elden Paul Myers, Gregory Parker and adopted sister, Vanessa Mosteller.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the ICU staff and IMC for their incredible care and to all family and friends for their love and support during this time.
Brandon’s adventurous spirit, love for family, and unwavering enthusiasm for life will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
