Beth Morris

Beth Lott Morris, age 63, of Altamont, passed away January 22, 2021, at the Timpanogas Regional Medical Center due to complications of her long battle with heart and lung issues.
    She was born March 4, 1957, in Roosevelt, to Marland Francis and Violet Maria Miles Lott.  She married the love is her life and best friend LeRoy Morris July 10, 1974 in Bluebell.  He died on February 25, 2018.  Their marriage was later solemnized in the Vernal Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
    Beth was a good homemaker who enjoyed gardening and doing lots of arts and crafts.  Her favorite pastime was watching her pets and horses out the back window.  She rode horses when she was younger.    She loved and adored her family – they were her world.
    Beth is survived by her daughter, Mandie (Jake) Sorenson, Bluebell; son, James Lee (Alexis) Morris, Roosevelt; grandchildren, Shelby, Stetson, & Kayden Sorenson; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Harper, Bethany, Braylee, & Hunter; a sister, Beverly Gunn, Vernal; a brother, Ted (Erlene) Lott, Lindon; and numerous nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog, “Ice Cream.”
    She was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy; her parents, Marland & Violet; and her siblings, Carol Lott & MaryLou Bowden.
    Due to COVID-19 guidelines the funeral service will be for immediate family only, but it will be live-streamed here  The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 27, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at the Altamont Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  There will be a visitation at the church on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. and from 10-10:45 a.m. Wednesday.
    Burial will be in the Altonah Cemetery.
