   Bertha Emily Hamilton Wilkerson, age 91, died on December 7, 2016 at the Sr. Villa.
    She was born September 21, 1925 in Roosevelt to Marvin Reece and Mary Ruby Johnson Hamilton.  She graduated from Roosevelt High School.  She worked as a telephone operator and was promoted to head operator before her marriage.  She married Arbun “C” Wilkerson on April 6, 1945 in Roosevelt.  He died October 2, 2009.  She became the stepmother to his three children, Virginia, Jean and Allen. Together they had eight children.
    Bertha and Arbun lived in the Uintah Basin for most of her life, except in later years when they became snow birds.  She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints all of her life and was sealed to Arbun on October 23, 2010 in the Vernal Utah Temple.
    Bertha was formost a homemaker.  For a period of time she worked at the Frontier Motel, and later as a school lunch cook at Todd/West Jr. High for 12 years.  She loved reading, doing all kinds of hand work including, sewing, quilting, crocheting, knitting, embroidery, plastic canvas and many other crafts.  Bertha worked hard to help Arbun on the ranch.  She had a great interest in genealogy and authored many family histories.  Her priority always was the family to whom she gave loving service through delicious meals and her selfless example and the patience of an angel.
    Bertha is survived by her children: Neil “C” Sr., (Christine) Wilkerson, Hancock Cove; Rex Jay (Connie) Wilkerson, Payson; Ruby Marie (Everett) Woodward, Roosevelt; Shirley Ann Sasaki, Windsor, Colorado; Barbara Vee Goodrich, Tridell; Chad Arbun (Tammy) Wilkerson, Gusher; Louise (James) Lemon, Ioka; Bruce H (Jane) Wilkerson, Findlay, Ohio, a stepdaughter, Virginia May - Strong, St. George; 41 grandchildren,135 great grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren with more on the way, sister, Lorna Anderson, and brothers, Marvin, Ivin and Arnold Hamilton,.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son-in-law, Randy Goodrich, brother Neldon Hamilton, sisters, Ina Drake, Fern Olsen, sister-in-law, Shirley Hamilton, brother-in-law, Sharon Anderson, step-children, Allen Ray and Mary Jean Wilkerson, 2 great grandsons and a great granddaughter.
    The family would like to thank the staff of the Sr. Villa and the Uintah Basin Medical Center along with all others for their loving care given to our mother.
    Funeral services held on Monday, December 12, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Roosevelt 1st & 4th Ward LDS Chapel.  A viewing will be held that morning from 9:30 - 10:45 a.m.     
    Burial in the Neola Cemetery.
