Rebecca Lynn “Becky” Kimmel, age 69, of Ballard, passed away July 29, 2021, at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born November 1, 1951, in Denver, Colorado, to Donald and Alice Chapel Kimmel. She married Hugh Wood, and later divorced. She married Claude Williams, and later divorced. She married James Postma, and they later divorced.
Becky was an avid horse trainer and barrel racer. She enjoyed anything outdoors, especially camping, and the time she worked at J&P Saddle. She loved her children and loved to spoil her grandchildren.
She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Becky is survived by her sons, John (Caroline) Wood, Ballard; Stephen (Susan) Wood, Anamoose, North Dakota; daughter-in-law, Vania Postma, Drake, North Dakota; grandsons, Levi (Letitia) Wood, Harrison, Arkansas; Denim (Jessie) Wood, Ballard; Jacob Postma, Drake, North Dakota; granddaughters, Dakota Wood, Anamoose, ND; Maddy, Annalyn, Emma Postma, Drake, ND; eight great-granddaughters; sisters, Vickie Hardinger, Layton; Christine Morris, Roosevelt; and countless friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, Joey Postma; parents; sister, Christine Music; brothers-in-law, Bruce Hardinger & Vern Morris; and her beloved barrel racing horse, Chipsy, and dogs, Gigi & Girlie.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 4, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at the Hullinger Mortuary. There will be a viewing at the mortuary on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9-9:45 a.m.
Burial will be in the Midway, Utah, Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.
