Beatrice Ann Cesspooch, “Tadasue”, age 68 of Salt Lake City, formerly of Roosevelt, passed away April 27, 2018, at the University of Utah Hospital.
She was born October 13, 1949, in Roosevelt, to Cruz Cesspooch and Mae McCook. She married Robert Lee Cummings and was later divorced.
Beatrice worked as a cardiology tech at a hospital and then as a salesperson at Sears. She enjoyed traveling, going to Wendover, riding horses, skiing, bowling, dancing, and being in the outdoors. She was very involved with and took great interest in the local Hispanic Culture. Other hobbies included crocheting and cooking. She helped people any chance she could and was a very traditional Ute woman. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various callings.
Beatrice is survived by her daughters, Anissa Mae Cummings, Draper; Angela Marie (Joseph, Sr.) Knight, Whiterocks; Aneedra Mavis Cummings, Montana; 13 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; sisters, Clarice (George) Cesspooch, Salt Lake City; LaVita Cesspooch, Alby, NM; JoAnn Wash, Ft. Duchesne; Shirleta (Frank) La Framboise, Randlett; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cruz and Mae; siblings, Delmar Doyle Cesspooch, Ann Sanchez, Samuel Cesspooch, Lupita Cesspooch, Beverly Serawop, Ray Cruz, and Janice Cesspooch.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at the Randlett LDS Chapel. There will be a viewing on Monday from 1:00-7:00 p.m. at the Hullinger Mortuary and then on Tuesday from 1:00-1:45 p.m. at the church.
Burial will be in the Randlett Cemetery.
