Bart Lester Kelsey

    Bart Lester Kelsey, age 60, of Duchesne, died on February 27, 2021, at his home.
    Bart was born on October 14, 1960, in Martinez, California, and was raised by Bob and JoAnn Davis Lankford, and Sheryl Kelsey. He married Tammy Horrocks, and together they had Tena, Michael and Jared. He married Glenda Collins, and together they had Tara and Vanessa. He married Stacy Carlson, and grew his family with her children. He was engaged to Becca Hauf, and they enjoyed their time together.
    Bart was a workaholic all of his life, starting at the age of 14. He managed a trucking company out of Rocksprings, WY, with his dad and brother for 30 years. When they closed he drove his own truck in the oilfield. He liked to hunt, golf, and camp, and loved to fish in Alaska with his dad and later his sons. He loved to tease people, especially those that he loved. He enjoyed Rodeo and horse racing in his younger days, and always loved to watch John Wayne western movies and listen to 90's country music. He collected guns and knives, and had a knack for winning at bingo and slot machines. He was a generous man and would do anything for anyone.
    He is survived by his fiancé, Becca, children, Tena (Shaun) Nading, Mike (Cris) Kelsey, Jared (Jodi) Kelsey, Tara (Scott) Simonton, and Vanessa (Shane) Fenn; step-children, Nicole (Aaron) Ledford, Mindy (Brett) Casto, Chet (Andrea) Marshall, Tad Marshall, and TJ Marshall; 21 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; siblings, Craig (Christina) Kelsey, Karri Hermes, and Robin (Dewayne) Calkins; half-siblings, Kathy (Darrel) Harding, Deb (JC) Curtis, and Bobby (Marion) Reno.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and JoAnn, and half-sister, Connie.
    Bart wished to be cremated. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, March 4, 2021, at 11:00AM at the Duchesne 1st and 3rd Ward Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
