Barbara Hardinger

    Barbara Loranger Hardinger, age 71, of Roosevelt, passed away November 16, 2017, in the Uintah Basin Medical Center.
    She was born August 12, 1946, in Roosevelt, to Louis Edward and Evelyn Louise Crow Loranger.  She married Franklin Clifford Hardinger and they later divorced.
    Barbara worked for many years as a CNA at Stewart’s Care Center and later when it was the Uintah Basin Sr. Villa. She enjoyed Facebook, crocheting, quilting, sewing – anything to do with crafts.  She loved her dogs, Baxter, Frisky, Ellie, Max, Michelle; her cockatiel, Lucy; and her cat, Max.  She helped everyone, did charity work, and loved children.  She was a member of the Roosevelt Baptist Church.  Her “smart alec” sense of humor will be greatly missed.
    Barbara is survived by her mother, Evelyn Loranger, Cedarview; her children, Frank (Shaunda) Hardinger, LouAnne Hardinger, both of Roosevelt; grandchildren, Atissa (Kenny) Bennett, Maria Lynn Hardinger, Karie Sue Murphy, Anthony Murphy, Marissa Murphy, Brittany Hardinger, Michael (Ashley) Hardinger, 9 great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Susie Loranger; and numerous nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her father, Louis; brother, Eddie Loranger; grandson, Tommy Eldredge; and ex-husband, Franklin Hardinger.
    Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2017, at 11:00 a.m., at the Roosevelt Baptist Church.  There will be a viewing from 6-8 p.m. on Friday at the Hullinger Mortuary and from 10-10:45 a.m. on Saturday at the church.
