Arnold Clerico

Arnold J. Clerico, age 84, of Lapoint, died Saturday, February 20, 2016, at the SLC Veterans Home.
Arnold was born March 30, 1931, in Castle Dale, UT, to John Dominic and Delores Olsen Clerico.
His early years were spent in Helper UT. He graduated from Jordan High in 1949, enlisted in the USAF during the Korean War, and served at Hunter Field, Savannah, GA. While there, he met Reba Jean Baker. They married February 2, 1952 and returned to UT where he enjoyed farming. They remained married until her death on December 5, 2009.
Arnold is survived by children Delores (Mark) Deardorff, Heidi (Danny) Long, all of Lapoint, and Kent (Karen) Clerico of Red Wing, MN, 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by wife Reba, his parents, and his twin brothers Alvin and Calvin.
Deep appreciation to the SLVH and the loving, devoted people there. You truly were Arnold's second family. "Sis, if I can't be home, I'm glad I'm here". Thank you for giving him almost three additional years of a happy life.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. a the Lapoint LDS Chapel with a viewing 1 hour prior to the service.
Burial in the Lapoint Cemetery under the direction of the Hullinger Mortuary.
