Arden Charles “Ace” Post, age 57, of Hilltop, passed away December 16, 2022, at the Uintah Basin Medical Center.
He was born February 25, 1965, in Roosevelt, to Arden Edmond Post, Sr., and Margaret Reed. He graduated from Ben Lomond High School in Ogden where he won a medal at the Golden Spike Run in 1979.
Ace worked in construction and was a talented sketch artist. He played the guitar, listened to all types of music, and rode motorcycles when he was younger. He was a confirmed bachelor, a lifestyle that he thoroughly enjoyed, however, he adored his grandchildren and loved spending time with the family.
Ace is survived by his children, Leander Post, Hilltop; Tyson (Presta) Post, Vernal; Hayden (Monni) Post, Towaoc, Colorado; Mahalia Spino, Oregon; Ezekial Post, Kee Lee Barney, and Deyami Barney; 9 grandchildren; his mother, Margaret (Raymond) Wissiup, Randlett; siblings, Roxanne Gilbert, Martin Martinez, Claire Post, Melissa Post Nez, Arden Edmund (Tara) Post, Jr., Jyssie Post, Isamael Artalejo, Jr.; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Arden, Sr.; his son, Todd Murray; a nephew, Elias Nez; grandparents, Phillip Post, Clara Ankerpont, Ezilda Van, Ilois “Bud” Reed; aunts and uncles, Raquel Ice, Marjorie Tavashutz, Ina Santio, Stephen, Gene, Roy Ankerpont; and Kenneth & Auggie Santio.
Final viewing and luncheon will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2022, at 10:00 am. at the Ft. Duchesne Community Building. There will be a wake at his home on Wednesday, after 3:00 p.m. at his home on Hilltop, 268 S 5475 E.
Burial will be in the Reed Family Cemetery in Farm Creek.
