Ann Santio, age 62, of Arapahoe, Wyoming, formerly of Ft. Duchesne, passed away November 29, 2018, in Denver.
She was born December 27, 1955, in Roosevelt, to Daniel Tahreep Santio and Hanna Serawop. She married Hubert Warren, Jr., and they later divorced.
Ann had worked for the Social Services department for the Ute Tribe, and office manager at White Buffalo Recovery Center at the Arapahoe Tribe in Wyoming. She loved her family and helped take care of her grandkids, following them to their various sporting events. She liked to attend cultural ceremonies, Pow Wows, do beadwork, believed in traditional ways of Northern Ute Tribe and Arapahoe Tribe.
Ann is survived by her children, Cheyenne (Matt) Romero, Vernal; Kateri Warren, Hubert Warren III (Jennifer SittingEagle), Riverton, WY; Daniel (Megan Oldman) Warren, Pascal (Jennifer WhitePlume) Warren, all of Arapahoe, Wyoming; 16 grandchildren; siblings, Ina & Veronica Santio, both of Ft. Duchesne; Susan Moore, Salt Lake City; Darryl (Christine) Santio, Ft. Duchesne; April Santio, Lapoint; aunt, Gladys Pawwinnee; uncle, Kenneth Santio, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Danny, Casey, Zorro, JD, and Davey Santio;
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 7, 2018, at 10:00 a.m at the Randlett Community Building where a wake will be held after 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
Burial will be in the Ouray-Tabbee Cemetery.
