Amanda Marie Natchees, age 67, of Randlett, passed away May 4, 2021, at the Intermountain Medical Center in Salt Lake City from a long time illness.
She was born April 5, 1954, in Ft. Duchesne, to Harvey and Clara Areep Natchees. Amanda was a very loving and happy soul who loved to be around people and give hugs. She adored Elvis Presley, and enjoyed traveling – she had been to every state West of North Dakota including Hawaii– , playing the slot machines, collecting any kind of card game, and watching TV and movies, especially Criminal Minds, Law and Order SVU, and any action flick. She really liked to eat: beans & fry bread, meatloaf, and meat & macaroni being her favorites. She had a true “sweet tooth” and would often eat the frosting first on any dessert – and of course loved her Diet Coke and Pepsi.
Amanda is survived by her sisters Emeline (Lorenzo) Root, Johana Miller; nieces and nephews, Debra M. (Jason) Jones, Tavia Natchees, Martine R. (Timothy) Coleman, Elizabeth Root, Caitlyn R. (Alejandro) Vazquez, Mike (Carlene) Natchees, Perrylynn (Tyrone) Tapoof, Christopher Limon, Rita, Tanisha, Nora, Sukie, & Coby Murray; Leander Post, Jason Jones, Jr.; Torrence, William, Hauskie, Ansel Miller; Sandi Murray-Chegup; and other aunts, uncles, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey & Clara; siblings, Maxine Natchees, Jonny Miller, Jessie Miller, Dennis Murray; grandparents, Edward & Vera Natchees, Boyce & Grace Areep; aunts & uncles, Maggie Natchees, Sarah Natchees, Violette Miller, Elizabeth Areep, and Loretta Drye.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at the Hullinger Mortuary.
Burial will be in the Ft. Duchesne Cemetery.
