Alvera Mae Mancito-Cesspooch, age 57, of Randlett, passed away May 7, 2021, at her home after a long battle with cancer.
She was born August 19, 1963, in Mescalero, New Mexico, to Jerry Lee Lloyd Lester and Beverly Cesspooch Serawop. She married Jimmy Cesspooch on August 7, 1990 in Vernal. He died March 19, 2020.
Alvera was on a Search and Rescue group with her husband Jimmy. Together they helped in many searches and law enforcement cases. She enjoyed attending Pow Wows, Bear Dances, Sundances, and traveling to Mescalero for Tribal Ceremonials (apache Mountain Spirit Dancers). Her pastimes were hunting, going to casinos, and socializing. One of her favorite things to do was take her son, Gary, on camping trips. In her younger days she liked to go horseback riding.
Alvera is survived by her children, Henry (Valencia) Cesspooch, Delmar Cesspooch, Gary Cesspooch, Alex Cesspooch, Michael Cesspooch; 3 grandchildren; siblings, Kerwin Lester, Jennifer Lester, Jerry Lester, “Jer” Morgan, Joycelyn Mancito, Priscilla Chapman, Jaymoe Tapoof, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy; her daughter, Elvira Cesspooch, and her parents.
Funeral services held on Thursday, May 13, 2021, at 10:00 AM, at the Randlett Community Building.
A wake will be held at her home in Randlett on Wednesday evening after 4:00 PM.
Burial in the Randlett Cemetery.
