Alice Ellen Serawop Jones, age 89, of Yellowstone Subdivision, passed away May 18, 2022, at her home.
She was born October 18, 1932, in Ft. Duchesne, to David Serawop and Wilhelmina William Wilson.
Alice lived a magnificent life full of love and adventure. She was the most spirited person with a zest for life who was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Grandkids were her life force, caring deeply about each one and only wanted them to do their best to be able to take care of themselves.
Alice loved spotting wildlife and being outdoors in Big Springs, Hillcreek, and Bittercreek. Going on long drives was her favorite activity; this was apparent in her travels visiting all lower 48 states in an 18-wheeler. She was known for her rabbit punch and, her love for “wrastlin”, and boxing.
Alice is survived by her son, Clark Jones, and his children Allison, Joellynne, Joseph Jones all of Fort Duchesne; daughter, Almina Wilson, and her daughters Erica Ellen & Maygen Rae Simm all of Yellowstone Subdivision; grandchildren, Carla Lee, Wallace Lee, Gilford Yazhe; 14 great-grandchildren; nephews and families she loved as her own: Raymond Martinez Family; Sonny, M-Ache, Vinny, Elliott Serawop Family; Chatto, Leeuz, Mayla Serawop; nieces and families: Sadine Chimburas, Kathie (Kenny) McCook Family; Candace & John, Austin McCook; Sybil (Trynity) Gravatt; sisters, Gladys Pawwinnee, and Mary Ann Perank.
She was preceded in death by parents, David Serawop & Wilhelmina Wilson; children, Orville Eric Lee, Douglas Lee, Aldora Yazhe, Gilford Lee, York Lee; grandchildren, LeVaughn Lee, Patrick Lee and her precious Poochies Sara Jane, Paco and Mr Mann.
