Alfred Lewis "Al" Hague, age 75, of Roosevelt, passed away September 25, 2015, at his home.
He was born in Worland, Wyoming July 5, 1940, to George E. and Brucella Nowlin Hague. The oldest of thirteen children, he moved with his family to Montana when he was a junior in high school, and that was when he met his future bride, Betty Yates. They were married in 1959 and had fifty-six wonderful years together. Together they raised four sons, Bobby, Chuck, Jerry and David, respectively.
Al was always a hard worker; working in oil field related jobs most of his adult life. Eighteen of those years were spent in Alaska on the North Slope. His last few years had been with Weatherford in Roosevelt, a job he enjoyed very much.
In their younger years the family did a lot of camping, fishing, building stockcars and vacationing at Disneyland. The highlight of Al and Betty's twilight years was traveling to Branson, Missouri, and a tour of Alaska in a motor home.
We will always remember our family times together. We will miss you honey, Dad, and Grandpa. Rest in peace.
Al is survived by his wife Betty, Roosevelt; sons, Charles "Chuck" (Sally) Hague, Roosevelt; Jerry (Ellen) Hague, Vernal; David (Jayne) Hague, Gillette, Wyoming; and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Dean "Bobby" Hague.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2015, at 11:00 a.m., at the Hullinger Mortuary where a viewing will be held one hour prior to the services.
Burial will be in the Roosevelt Memorial Park.
