Akosita Kaufusi

Akosita Kaufusi, age 42, of Ballard, passed away August 29, 2020.
She was born October 18, 1977, in Salt Lake City, to Kelo Kaufusi and Eleanor Kay Garrison Kaufusi.  
Akosita had worked as a cashier at a convenience store and in customer service.  She was a fun loving person who was always willing to give everything she had.  She had an infectious laugh and cared for others.  Her hobbies included gambling and being with other people.  
Akosita is survived by her children, Josefina & Cesar Garcia; Drue Kelo Ashby, all of Salt Lake City; grandchildren, Khloee Garcia & Laylah Romero; parents, Kelo & Vaeiki Kaufusi; siblings, Christella (Gary) Trujillo, Whiterocks; Sione (Alicia) Kaufusi; Sela Kaufusi, both of Roosevelt; Filipe (Kateari) Kaufusi, Whiterocks Highway; Tiane Kaufusi, Roosevelt; Eseta Rhodes, Charlie Kaufusi, both of  Cottage Grove, Oregon; Kautai (Amelia) Kaufusi, Magna; Inoke & Tevita Kaufusi, both of Roosevelt; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives.  
She was preceded in death by her sister, Diane Garrison; mother, Eleanor Kaufusi; nephew, Sione J-Rob Kaufusi; grandparents and other relatives.  
Services were held on Saturday, September 5, 2020, at the Roosevelt Memorial Park.
